Testimony
"And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, 'We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.'"
Acts 14:21,22

The apostles and disciples shared their testimonies of their fruits in the spreading of the gospel to strengthen and encourage one another. We would love to hear your testimonies of soul-winning experiences. The sharing of testimonies is vital for the encouragement to all youths; and is always a highlight for all to hear.

Christian Standards of Conduct at Adventist Youth Conference 2010
Cairns Adventist Youth Conference 2010 organisers are making every endeavour that this will be a professionally run conference where the Holy Spirit can work in the hearts of youth. As such, we ask the delegates to CAIRNS AYC'10 to observe a Christian standard of conduct in Personal Devotional time, Attendance, Sabbath observance, Dress and Literature Distribution.

Personal devotional time - is the key to personal revival and spiritual growth.

Attendance - delegates are required to attend all sessions and outreach projects in a diligent and prompt manner.

Sabbath Observance - delegates will be given sufficient time for Sabbath preparation. The Sabbath hours are to be sacredly guarded and enjoyed.

Dress and Decorum - As Adventist young people we consider it a privilege to reflect a Christ-like spirit and dress modestly. Our appearance in every respect should be characterised by neatness, modesty, and purity, and not to reflect worldly principles or draw attention to ourselves. As such, at CAIRNS AYC'10 we have a dress standard that incorporates a clean, professional look in keeping with Biblical and Hotel standards. We recommend business casual or smart casual attire as appropriate for this conference. (We recommend no shorts, t-shirts, ragged jeans, tight-fitting garments, mini-skirts, singlets or low cut blouses. We recommend delegates do not wear jewelry or bodily ornaments). We want to thank you for respecting these dress standards.

Cairns AYC'10 will be held in the 4-star Pacific International Hotel and the 5-star Sebel Hotel. Delegates are required to maintain a high Adventist behavioral standard at all times. We will be a corporate witness to Adventist Christianity to all around us at this conference. Delegates will need to treat hotel staff, other hotel guests, and members of the public with respect, courtesy, and kindness.

For those involved in ushering, organisation or platform sessions, as well as Sabbath attire for ALL delegates:
Men - collared shirt & tie - we are in the tropics suit coat is not necessary.
Ladies – skirt and blouse or Sabbath dress

Literature Distribution - Distribution of all books, literature or media must be first be approved by the Cairns Adventist Youth Conference 2010 organisers.
